This is a good school. • Pupils achieve well in reading, writing and mathematics as a result of good teaching and because of their own understanding of the importance of working hard at school.

• Children experience vibrant and imaginative teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage. They are very well prepared for Year 1. • Actions to improve reading are effective and standards are rising in all year groups.
