They carefully plan the environment each day to meet the extensive interests and needs of all children. For example, children enjoy a variety of craft activities, puzzles and games indoors. They also have the o...pportunity to explore climbing equipment and sports activities in the secure playground area.
Children behave well in the after-school club. They are kind and respectful towards their friends and adults and always demonstrate good manners. For example, children thank their friends for holding doors open and compliment staff on the delicious snacks that they prepare.
Staff promote these positive behaviours well with consistent strategies. They provide children with an abundance of praise and are swift to remind children of the setting rules, where necessary.

Staff promote healthy eating by providing children with an extensive range of healthy snacks throughout the session. Children have plenty of opportunity to be active. They enjoy table tennis matches indoors and have access to sports equipment in the extensive outdoor areas.
Children of all ages form exceptionally close bonds with one another. They cooperate well throughout the session, celebrating their friend's efforts and achievements. For example, children admire the beautiful winter pictures they create during a craft activity.
Older children take pride in helping their younger friends in tasks. They are sensitive to their different ages and abilities, when showing them how to make bracelets and keyrings.Children delight at completing age-appropriate tasks at the after-school club.
They relish taking on extra responsibilities that supports their self-esteem and promotes their sense of belonging at the club.
